Now, we will convert this cloth material into a sack. For that, we will take uncooked whole white rice and make a small handy sack by filling the cloth with the uncooked rice. We are using rice grains here because they absorb the heat and can retain it for hours compared to other grains or seeds.

Also, we are not using rice powder as the material can get damaged. Hence, it will no longer be able to fulfill our purpose. So while preparing a warm compress sack, there are two important things that you need to take care of.

Firstly, the cloth material you are using for the warm compress must be permeable enough to enable the transfer of heat. It should not be synthetic. Secondly, make sure that the contents of your sack are something that can retain heat for longer durations.

Now once you have prepared a warm compress sack by tying it up, its now time to heat it. To heat, the warm compress put it in a microwave for about ten to fifteen minutes at hundred and eight degrees Celsius.

Once the warm compress is heated, check its warmth by placing it on your waist or your wrist. Make sure that the warm compress has been heated enough to be applied to the affected area. If the warm compress is too hot, let it cool down for some time.
