Aim and Scope


The mission of Language, Speech, and Hearing Services in Schools (LSHSS), first published in 1970, is to publish peer-reviewed research articles and other scholarly manuscripts that pertain to the practice of speech-language pathology and audiology in the schools, focusing primarily on children and adolescents. Because research should be a major force in determining speech-language pathology and audiology practices in the schools, the journal addresses the needs of researchers, clinicians, and students interested in the school population through open discussion and analysis of new ideas.
