GISLATAM 2024 : 5TH GIS LATAM CONFERENCE

We are pleased to announce The Fifth GIS LATAM Conference 2024. This year, the
conference will be held in person, and for authors who are unable to attend, there is also an
option to participate virtually. The event is organized by GIS LATAM GROUP, UPIITA-IPN, and
ANTACOM, and hosted by UPIITA-IPN.
The focus of this conference is around GIS Research and Education, GeoSpatial Data
Science and IA, exploring the intersection of Earth-related topics and emerging trends in
geospatial Information Technologies. We welcome submissions on Spatial Data Science, Big
Spatial Data, Future Internet, Semantic Web, Smart Cities, and other relevant areas. This
conference format presents exciting challenges and opportunities for the GIScience research
community, and we look forward to showcasing the latest advancements in AI and GIScience.
We invite authors to submit full, original, and unpublished research papers. The review
process will follow a double-blind criteria. Please submit your papers through our submission

All submissions will undergo rigorous evaluation by the Program Committee to ensure quality,
originality, and relevance.
Please review our previous proceedings in Journal: Research in Computing Science,
available at www.rcs.cic.ipn.mx. Furthermore, selected best papers will have the opportunity to
submit an extended version of their work for consideration in Springer Nature
