In the advent of autonomous driving the industry longs for appropriately educated employees in a wider range of fields than ever before. To meet the need of the industry academic teachers and members of the industry have to communicate to each other. This workshop should provide a chance to for both sides to meet, exchange requirements and experiences and work out an example lecture according to industrial requirements and academical feasibility. To our knowledge there has not been any automotive software engineering workshop focusing on the collaboration between academics and industry in facing adequate education. |
Call for Papers |
The Workshop for Automotive Software Systems Engineering (WASSEE) seeks original position papers of experiences and novel approaches of educating students in the development of automotive software systems engineering. It focuses on the collaboration of the industry with academics to teach students everything they need in their future job in the automotive industry. The topics include but are not restricted to:
Workshop Format The workshop consists of a short presentation by each participant whose position paper was accepted. The presentation should be about 10 minutes with a 10 minutes discussion Target Audience The target audience are members of the industry and professors or researches working in the field of education. Venue The workshop will be held in conjunction with CSEE&T 2020 in Munich, Germany. More details on the venue can be found in the program section.
