TICAM 2025 : Technologies d’Information et de Communication pour l’Amazighe

The rapid advancement of digital technologies has significantly reshaped global linguistic dynamics. The Internet and social media have not only accelerated communication but also expanded and intensified the creation of multilingual content, transforming how languages interact and coexist. Within this evolving landscape, Artificial Intelligence (AI) presents new possibilities for Natural Language Processing (NLP), offering powerful tools that support the recognition, learning, and promotion of natural languages. Amazigh, like many other languages seeking to strengthen their presence in the digital sphere, finds itself at the forefront of these transformations. Its integration into this digital evolution brings both considerable challenges and exciting new opportunities. These include, on one hand, the enhancement of technologies for automatic language recognition and generation, and the development of intelligent educational tools that enable personalized and adaptive learning. On the other hand, it raises important questions about Amazigh’s role in a global digital ecosystem — including the management of multilingualism, access to linguistic resources on international platforms, interoperability with existing language technologies, and the potential of AI to contribute to the preservation and dissemination of Amazigh linguistic heritage. In this context, the International Conference on Information and Communication Technologies for Amazigh (TICAM) seeks to explore and advance discussions and research on the latest developments in AI and NLP for natural languages, with a particular emphasis on the Amazigh language.
