We are pleased to invite you to submit your research paper to 2019 5th International Conference on Science and Technology (ICST) that will be held on 30–31 July 2019 in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. ICST UGM 2019 is part of Universitas Gadjah Mada Annual Scientific Conferences (UASC 2019) series held by Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia to provide an ideal academic platform for researchers to present the latest research findings and describe emerging technologies, and directions in engineering and natural sciences issues.
This year, seven symposia will be held: Computer and Information Technology symposium; Electronics, Communication, Control, and Instrumentation symposium; Environmental and Earth Science symposium; Life Sciences, Materials, and Applied Chemistry symposium; Mechanical and Industrial Engineering symposium; Power and Energy symposium; and Remote Sensing and Geomatics symposium. The accepted and presented papers will be submitted to journals/proceedings that are indexed by Scopus.

Short description of Yogyakarta: If Jakarta is Java’s financial and industrial powerhouse, Yogyakarta is its soul. Central to the island’s artistic and intellectual heritage, Yogyakarta (pronounced ‘Jogjakarta’ and called Yogya or Jogja for short), is where the Javanese language is at its purest, Java’s arts at their brightest and its traditions at their most visible. Fiercely independent and protective of its customs, and still headed by its sultan, whose Kraton remains the hub of traditional life, contemporary Yogya is nevertheless a huge urban centre (the entire metropolitan area is home to over 3.3 million) complete with cybercafes, malls and traffic jams, even as it remains a stronghold of batik, gamelan, and ritual. Put it all together and you have Indonesia's most liveable and lovely city, with countless hotels offering the best value in Java across all price ranges. Its restaurants are tasty and there are cultural attractions everywhere you look within the city and on the outskirts, where you'll find Indonesia’s most important archaeological sites, Borobudur and Prambanan. All submissions have to be made through EDAS Conference Management System, except for a non-presenter and participant who will be presented in Life Sciences, Materials, and Applied Chemistry symposium. All of the submitted ICST UGM 2019 papers will be peer-reviewed by at least three reviewers using a blind peer-review process.
