In order to improve science and technology development in an increasingly advanced era. Therefore, Stem Cell Research and Development Center of Universitas Airlangga, adopted from the Center for Higher Education Science and Technology program (PUI PT) held an international symposium. The growing need for extraordinary health services also demands the development of medical science that will serve as the basis for quality services from the scientific, patient safety and medical people in it. Formal education alone is still less able to offer a full service. Therefore, short courses and symposium are very useful in providing new knowledge to medical person. Surgery , Pharmacology and Psychotherapy treatment has grown very rapidly, it is also necessary think about the body cells regeneration. Currently stem cells has been developing for variety of treatments. This knowledge should be developed and recognized by all medical people, in Indonesia in order to answer the community's questions about the ability of medical people in stem cell treatment. Symposium Purposes The seminar was held to answer the challenge, with the theme of “Basic Ethic, Regulatory and Downstream Stem Cell Product”. This topic will be interesting because the potential commercialization of stem cell products is very large without any age and gender limitations, so as to bring stem cell product downstream to the public will require the entire process starting from basic stem cell certified from clearance conduct and obtain regulatory approval of BPOM. Improve understanding of stem cell application medicolegal and biomedical sciences. Increasing participants' understanding of the regulation of Stem Cell services in hospitals.
