Scope of the book:
This comprehensive edited advanced book will cover pattern recognition and machine and deep learning-based methods and techniques applied to augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR). This topic has matured with very exciting developments and applications in real time including communications, streaming, interactive gaming, banking, security, e-commerce, education, telemedicine, etc. The goal of this new volume is to summarize the recent research advances in the field. We believe now is the time for an advanced book that will cover the state of the art in the field. Our aim is to edit a useful reference for a cross disciplinary audience working in AR/VR, Computer Vision, and Machine and Deep Learning research in both industry and academia.
