Call for Papers

It is our pleasure to inform you that the following Special Issue is open for submission:

Special Issue: Photoactive and Electroactive Polymers
Guest Editors: Prof. Dr. Tzi-yi Wu
Submission deadline: 30 November 2019
Website:
https://www.mdpi.com/journal/polymers/special_issues/photoactive_electroactive_polymers

Recent advances and developments in photoactive and electroactive polymers show that new platforms and technologies can be used to design and fabricate innovative photoactive and electroactive polymer architectures with extensive applications in various areas. Therefore, this Special Issue includes the synthesis, physicochemical properties,
optical and electrochemical characterization, deformability and shape memory characteristics, and applications of photoactive and electroactive polymers in various fields.

We cordially ask you to consider submitting your next research paper to this thematic issue. In order for us to plan for the whole project, please let us know within two weeks as to whether you would be willing to contribute. We sincerely hope that this invitation will receive your favorable consideration.

Polymers is one of MDPI's open access journals (indexed in Web of Science, current Impact Factor 3.164). To support open access, Article Processing Charges (APC) of 1500 CHF (Swiss Francs) per paper currently apply to all accepted articles. You may be entitled to a discount if you have previously received a discount code or if your institute is participating in the MDPI Institutional Open Access Program (IOAP). For
more information, see: http://www.mdpi.com/about/ioap.

Benefits of publishing in Polymers: 1. Open access and high visibility: unlimited access, immediate accessibility, high publicity; 2. broad database coverage (such as SCIE (Web of Science), Scopus, Ei Compendex, CAS, Polymer Library, EBSCOhost etc.); 3. various promotional activities and academic event presentations; 4.Rapid turn-around: 18 days from submission to first decision.

We will be happy to answer your questions and we look forward to hearing from you soon.
