This conference will cover a wide array of odour topics, including odour science, chemical forensics and source identification, field assessment methods, electronic sensing, sampling methods, policy and regulation, modeling, controls and mitigation, community impacts, and best practices. In partnership with the Ontario Section of A&WMA, the two-day International Conference will be followed by a full day of discussions focused on Ontario specific odour and noise nuisance issues and land-use planning.
The following topics are candidates for presentations and panel discussions: • Odour Science • Odour Chemical Forensics and Source Identification • Odour Field Assessment Methods, Tools, Best Practices • Electronic Air Monitoring, Sensing • Odour Sampling Methods, Challenges • Odour Standards and Nuisance/Complaint Thresholds • Odour Policy and Regulation • Odour Modelling, Best Practices • Odour Controls and Mitigation • Odour Community Impacts • Land-use Compatibility • Acoustic Challenges in Assessing Nuisance • Best Practices for Dealing with Odour and Noise Land-use Compatibility Abstracts of 250 words or less should be submitted to [email protected] by November 30, 2023.
