Indeed, optical communication changes the way the world connects since then. Optical communication technology has brought great changes to our life, and promoted the development of our society and economy. Optical information processing, an emerging discipline developed in recent years, is an important part of modern information processing technology by combining communication and optics, which has successfully solved many scientific problems, breathed new life into the field and become a very active research direction. The International Conference on Optical Communication and Optical Information Processing (OCOIP 2023) will be held in Sanya, China, from November 13-15, 2023. It focuses to present the latest theoretical advances and experimental state of the art in the newly developing field of optical communication and optical information processing, with particular emphasis on applications to communication, information storage and processing. The conference aims to share research results, advance the development of the discipline and promote the cultivation of talents.
