Call for Papers: Special Issue on "The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Information Networking”
Journal: New Review of Information Networking (Scopus Indexed) This special issue aims to explore the transformative impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on information networking, with a particular focus on library and information science, archives, and records management. We invite researchers, practitioners, and scholars to submit original research articles, case studies, and reviews that address the integration of AI technologies in these fields. We welcome submissions on a wide range of topics, including but not limited to: AI-driven cataloguing and classification systems Enhancing user experience with AI-powered recommendation systems Chatbots and virtual assistants in libraries Automated archival processing and metadata generation AI for digital preservation and restoration Privacy and ethical considerations in AI-driven archival systems Machine learning algorithms for information retrieval Natural language processing for semantic search AI in managing big data in libraries and archives Predictive analytics for user engagement AI in studying information-seeking behaviour Personalisation of library services through AI Data privacy and security in AI applications Ethical implications of AI in information management Regulatory frameworks for AI in libraries and archives Submission Guidelines: Manuscript Preparation: Authors should prepare their manuscripts according to the journal's submission guidelines, which can be found on the New Review of Information Networking website.
