Dear researchers and scientists: In this Book, formational aspects of different selected meta-heuristic algorithms on the computer and electrical engineering will be studied. This analysis is so useful and motivative for the researchers to design and creation of new meta-heuristics with higher performance. Performance comparison of the selected meta-heuristic algorithms such as Particle Swarm Optimization, Invasive Weed Optimization Algorithm, Quantum based IWO, Firefly Algorithm, Artificial Bee Colony Algorithm, and World Cup Optimization algorithm within unconstrained global optimization benchmark problems by different features will be performed and studied for more understanding the concept of the algorithms. In addition, all of these algorithms can be improved or even combinate with each other to turn the system performance more efficient in different ways. Exploration and exploitation terms are studied and are analyzed in different algorithms and their profits and their drawbacks. Since analysis of the Meta-heuristic algorithms can help us to survey the good researches about the applications of artificial intelligence in different fields from science to engineering and can inspire us to develop the introduced works in the future.
