MASCOTS 2022: International Symposium on the Modeling, Analysis, and Simulation of Computer and Telecommunication Systems
Nice, France, October 18-20, 2022 Conference website: https://mascots.iitis.pl/ Submission link: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=mascots22 Submission deadline: June 1st, 2022 The MASCOTS 2022 conference encourages original submissions describing state-of-the-art research in the areas of the performance evaluation of computer systems and networks as well as in related areas. Papers describing results of theoretical and/or practical significance are solicited. Experimental, modelling and simulation studies are all in the scope of the conference. Work focusing on novel performance evaluation methods or providing insights on design and runtime management tradeoffs are particularly encouraged. Topics of interest include (but are not limited to): Big data and advanced machine learning techniques for system optimisation and design Cloud/edge/fog technologies Computer architectures, multi-core processors and memory systems Computer networks, protocols and algorithms Databases and big data systems and technologies Energy efficient computer systems Internet of Things Mobile systems Multimedia systems Operating systems and virtualization technologies Security in computer and communication systems Smart grids and cyber-physical systems Social networks Storage and file systems Web systems, enterprise applications and web services Wireless, mobile, ad-hoc and sensor networks Submissions must be formatted using two-columns and may be up to 8 pages in length, including all tables, figures, appendices, and references. Full paper submissions, after refereeing, may be also considered for presentation as short papers, limited to 4 pages in the proceedings. We also welcome 4-page short paper submissions. All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. Guidelines regarding paper formatting are available at the IEEE Manuscript Templates for Conference Proceedings. Accepted papers will only be included in the program if there is one distinct registered author per paper. Proceedings will be published in IEEExplore.
