Face to face and Online Conference
Call for Papers The XIII Postgraduate Conference: Management, Hospitality & Tourism is co-organised by the School of Management, Hospitality & Tourism, University of Algarve, and by the Lisbon Accounting and Business School, Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon. This conference offers young researchers an informal space for multidisciplinary discussion and critical reflection in tourism, hospitality, marketing, management, information and communication technologies, applied languages and literature (to tourism, hospitality, marketing and management), and related research areas. The thirteenth edition will take place on July 8 2022, in Faro. The conference is open to postgraduate, masters and PhD students and researchers who have completed their PhD over the last five years. National and international students and researchers who fall into the following categories are invited to participate: •Masters students (at any stage of their work) •Master’s graduates (graduated in the last 5 years) •Doctoral students (at any stage of their work) •PhD graduates (graduated in the last 5 years) •Graduate students (at any stage of their work) Tourism and Business Sciences are the scientific areas of submission, and the papers may fall into the following sub-areas: •Accounting •Culture and Heritage •Economics •Entrepreneurship •Finance •Hospitality & Tourism •Languages and literature applied to Tourism and Management •Law / Tax Law and Taxation •Marketing •International Business •Human Resources •Ethics & Social Responsibility •Information & Communication Technologies Types of work: communications and posters Submissions Abstract submission: 500 words, excluding title and bibliographic references. Form for abstract submission (poster or oral presentation) available at http://www.esght.ualg.pt/pgconference/pt/inscricoes.html. Conference Languages: Portuguese, English and Spanish. Presentations: 20 minutes (+ 10 minutes for discussion) organised in thematic sessions. Posters: (dimension A1, 594mm x 841mm) presented at a time to be defined in the program. There will be a WTT session: We Talk Together - exhibition and presentation of research work with the possibility of debate between authors and participants. **************************************************************************************** Important notes: ▪ All papers are anonymously evaluated by a minimum of two scientific reviewers. ▪ The same author may appear in more than one work, but the presentations will be limited to a maximum of two for each registered author. ▪ Preparation, printing, transport and placement of the poster (on the day of the conference) are the responsibility of the participants. Publication Opportunities All abstracts of papers presented at the conference will be published in the XIII Postgraduate Conference booklet with ISBN.
