Software producing organizations face the challenges of changing demands, rapidly evolving technology, and a dynamic ecosystem in which their products and services need to operate. The International Workshop on Software-intensive Business: Unleashing the business potential of Software(IWSiB) brings together communities working on software-intensive business research and bridges the gap between software engineering and business research. The workshop supports the development of a research agenda for the emerging area of software-intensive business, maps challenges and best practices in the industry, and proposes new avenues for business-oriented software engineering research and practice. |
Call for Papers |

There are two paper categories: i) 8-page full papers; and ii) 2–4 page short position papers and industrial experience reports. We encourage submissions of contributions describing different stages of research, from position papers to full research reports. We welcome both research and industry papers. IWSiB seeks submissions describing novel research, experience reports, as well as emerging ideas. We are interested in studies describing original and unpublished results in the field of software-intensive business. The focus of the workshop is on new promising ideas and therefore work-in-progress reports are welcome to ignite discussion in the workshop.
