4th International Symposium on Computer Science and Intelligent Control (ISCSIC 2020) will be held at Newcastle University, Newcastle upon Tyne, UK on 10-12 August, 2020. In recent years, we have seen exciting new research and development on cyber-physical systems, Internet of Things, big data, and artificial intelligence. The computer and networking technologies, big data analytics, and machine learning are transforming many aspects of our industry, government, healthcare, and society. Machines are becoming smarter thanks to computer algorithms enabled by machine learning and artificial intelligence. Computer systems are no longer just performing computations. They now take inputs from various sensors, make autonomous decisions, and issue commands to actuators that could exert physical changes to equipment and environment. These new developments have revolutionised industrial manufacturing, transportation, and health and societal care. Together, computer science and intelligent control are making our life so much more convenient and enjoyable. The 4th International Symposium on Computer Science and Intelligent Control (ISCSIC 2020) aims to bring together researchers in the areas related to Computer Science and Intelligent Control in a single platform and present their stimulating research and knowledge transfer ideas in both Computer Science and Intelligent Control. This symposium welcomes new research in the areas of computer science and intelligent control, such as distributed systems, computer vision, image and signal processing, intelligent systems, robotics, industrial process control, big data analytics, modelling and optimisation, machine learning and artificial intelligence. However, we also recognise that the future for computer scientists and control engineers is one where they will be working in interdisciplinary teams to solve new, complex and evolving problems that will require innovative solutions. Therefore, we encourage participation of other disciplines in this conference where multidisciplinary research and knowledge transfer projects are presented. The 3rd ISCSIC has been held in Amsterdam, Netherlands on 25-27 September 2019, and accepted paper by ISCSIC 2019 wil be published in ACM conference proceeding. The 2nd ISCSIC has been held in Stockholm, Sweden on 21-23 September 2018, and accepted paper by ISCSIC 2018 has been published in ACM conference series. The 1st ISCSIC has been held in Budapest, Hungary on 20-22 October 2017, and accepted paper by ISCSIC 2017 has been published in IEEE conference series and Journal Computer. |
