About |
Internet of Things (IoT) refers to systems with networked physical entities that collaborate to achieve certain goals. Examples of IoT systems include smart homes and smart cities. The physical entities are sometimes referred as nodes, objects, devices, or things. They are usually autonomous, equipped with sensors and actuators, and able to process information, make decisions, and communicate with each other. IoT technologies can potentially be applied to every aspect of our lives. They can be used to increase productivity, improve efficiency, enhance safety and provide convenience.
