Interiority Vol 2 No 2 2019 : Interiority Journal Call for Papers

Interiority journal presents the discourses on interiority from multiple perspectives in various design-related disciplines: architecture, interior design, spatial design, and other relevant fields. The idea of interiority emphasises the internal aspects that make and condition the interior, which might be understood and manifested through the users’ inhabitation, through the materiality of objects and built environment as well as through specific methods and approaches of design practice. The journal addresses the idea of interiority as both experienced and practised, which might be examined through theoretical discussion, spatial design practice and empirical interior research.

Interiority is currently accepting manuscripts to be considered for publication in the future issues of the journal. Manuscripts can be in the forms of research papers or theoretical papers that appropriately address the idea of interiority as outlined in the Aims and Scopes of the journal. We also accept reviews of books on the themes that are relevant to the idea of interiority, as well as reviews of projects and exhibitions that demonstrate how the concept of interiority could be translated into practice.
