Dear All, Please find below a call for Chapter for Book with IGI Global Advances in Systems Analysis, Software Engineering, and High-Performance Computing (ASASEHPC) book series. Please accept our apologies if you receive multiple copies of this announcement. ----------- CALL FOR Chapters IGI Global Book- Layered Approaches to Managing Resources for Vehicular Ad-Hoc Networks. Please find the link for the submission of the chapter. https://www.igi-global.com/publish/call-for-papers/call-details/2951 *Introduction* Vehicular Ad-hoc Network (VANET) is a wireless technology working on the principals and concept of Ad-Hoc Networks. Due to the dynamic road conditions, traffic flow theory laws and models, vehicular mobility constraints, human interaction, and vehicular characteristics VANETs exhibit different behavior. The advancements and ongoing research in wireless communication have enabled VANETs to integrate with different emerging technologies in the new era of communication systems. The concept of VANET is implemented in every domain of life starting from intelligent transportation, safe and secures road journeys, smart and green technologies, Smart Grid, Internet of Vehicles, Cloud computing and business-oriented services for communities. This initiate and bring forward new areas of interest for the researchers to explore VANETs. *Objective of the Book* The concept of Vehicular Ad hoc Network is now transformed into reality. Many research efforts are made to highlights the concept, issues, and technologies of VANETs. This book will discuss different aspects of Resource Management in the different implementations of VANETs. This book will also cover issues, algorithm, and solutions for achieving the best resource utilization in VANETs. *Target Audience* This book will serve as a reference book for graduating students. Additionally, this book can also be served as a textbook for graduate students in courses such as Vehicular Ad-hoc Network, Wireless Ad hoc Networks, and Wireless Emerging Technologies. *Recommended topics include, but are not limited to, the following:* • Efficient Hardware design for managing resources in VANETs. • Role of Network coding in Resource Management for VANETs • Cross Layer issues for Resource Management for VANETs • Routing protocols for Resource Management for VANETs • Optimizing Vehicular Networks • Modeling Network Performance for Resource Management in VANETs. • Renewable energy resources for VANETs communications • Managing Resources for VANET role towards Green environments. • Enhancing the quality of service in cloud-based vehicular networks. • Improving organizational Productivity using VANETs • Managing Resources on the Internet of Vehicles (IoV) • QoS in VANETs under Fog Computing under resource management. • Conclusion and future perspective *Submission Procedure* You are invited to submit a 2 to 3 page manuscript proposal clearly describing and explaining the topic of the proposed chapter. The proposal should include the chapter summary, table of contents, and contact authors. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-blind review basis. *Important Dates* *December 25, 2018: * Full Chapter Submission *February 15, 2019: *Review Results Returned *March 15, 2019:* Final Chapter Submission *Publisher* This book is scheduled to be published by IGI Global (formerly Idea Group, Inc.).
