ICPES 2019 : 9th International Conference on Power and Energy Systems

We are pleased to host the 9th International Conference on Power and Energy Systems (ICPES 2019) at Perth from 10-12 December at the picturesque campus of Murdoch University.

ICPES 2019 will provide a forum for academics, university researchers and industry experts in power engineering, renewable energy and energy fields to share ideas and experiences, and discuss innovations.

The Organizing Committee of ICPES 2019 invites researchers, practitioners and students worldwide to submit the outcomes of their research for consideration to be presented at the conference. Contributions are encouraged in all fields of Electrical Power, Renewable Energy and Energy, particularly those in the following areas:

• Microgrids, virtual power plants and standalone power systems
• Power system protection, reliability & resiliency

• Distributed, embedded & dispersed generation

• Big data, modern artificial intelligence and Signal processing applications in power systems
• Power system and renewable energy education
• IoT enabled energy system and cybersecurity
• Circuits, systems, control and application of power electronics

• Asset management, fault diagnosis and condition monitoring

*** Submission Guidelines
Full papers should be submitted to the conference technical committee to be considered for publication before the due date. The prepared manuscript should be 4-6 pages, prepared in English and according to the conference template, and submitted as a PDF file via the online submission system. Full instructions are available on the conference website. The accepted and presented papers at the conference will be submitted to IEEExplore®.


*** Special Session Organizers
Special Session organizers should submit their proposal, using the attached template, to the Special Session Chair, Dr. Reza Razzaghi ([email protected]) by April 30th. The proposal should include 6 tentative paper titles and the corresponding names and affiliation of them. The successful applications will be announced by May 15th.

The Special Session organizers will arrange the reviewing of the papers submitted to their session in collaboration with the conference’s Technical Chair and Special Session Chair. The Special session organizers will receive free registration for every 6 papers accepted and registered in the conference under their special session.


*** Tutorial Presenters
Tutorial presenters should submit their proposal, using the attached template, to the Tutorial Chair, Dr. Behrooz Bahrani ([email protected]) by April 30th. The proposed tutorials could be half a day or a full day. The proposal should include the tutorial title and the names and affiliation of the presenter(s). The successful applications will be announced by May 15th. All proposals related to the general scope of the conference will be considered.
