The 2019 IEEE Conference on Open Systems (ICOS 2019) will be held in Pulau Pinang, Malaysia on 19 – 21 November 2019. The conference will provide a platform for promoting research, sharing knowledge, exchanging ideas, and discussing development activities in the area of open systems. ICOS2019 is sponsored by IEEE Computer Society Malaysia.

ICOS 2019 covers, but not limited to the following areas:
• Open systems and technologies
• Software engineering and tools
• Open systems applications
• Security
• Open systems in public sector
• Standards and infrastructures
• Business, licensing and legal issues
