*CENTRE FOR WORKPLACE CAPACITY DEVELOPMENT*
*CONFERENCE AND EXHIBITION CALL FOR PAPERS* *International Conference and Exhibition on Social Entrepreneurship, Energy and Climate Change (ICE - SEECC)* *Sheraton Lagos Hotel and Towers, Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria* *16th - 18th August, 2022* *INTRODUCTION:* The Centre for Workplace Capacity Development, is committed to the actualisation of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's) of *No Poverty (1), Zero Hunger (2), Quality Education (4), Affordable and Clean Energy (7), Climate Action (13) and Partnerships for the Goals (17)* through the formulation and implementation of Global Partnership Programmes. To this end, the Centre for Workplace Capacity Development is organising an International Conference and Exhibition, as a global call to action, for the realisation of these sustainable development goals, with the aim of attracting broad participation from individuals, groups, voluntary organisations, funding and donor agencies, international support institutions, inter-governmental bodies, non-governmental and not-for-profit organisations, development partners, etc. We will also appreciate the enlistment, and coming on board, of other critical stakeholders that are actively involved and engaged in capacity building, development and empowerment programmes, as their direct involvement will further help the United Nations Member States eradication of these global scourge. The United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals has seventeen (17) sdg objectives for the actualisation of United Nations Member States. At the critical stage, when the race by the United Nations Member States hots up, in meeting the sustainable development goals, the world was hit by yet another catastrophic human scourge of monumental proportion. This human scourge, which was designated as the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic by the World Health Organisation (WHO), now requires immediate, long lasting and global coordinated collective action for its eradication. The Covid-19 pandemic, has created a lot of disruption to the social-economic environment; and had, so far, adversely affected the way we relate, interact and work, since the first case of the pandemic was reported in 2019. As of today, the world is grappling with the enormity of the disruptive nature of the pandemic, which seems not to be in a hurry to take its well deserved leave, long after the World Health Organisation (WHO) had designated it as a global pandemic, with the attendant human casualties, occasioned by the 1st, Beta, Delta and the Omicron variant waves. Despite the challenges created by the Covid-19 pandemic, the race to meet the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals has not slowed down, as nations of the world are still committed to achieving all of the seventeen (17) Sustainable Development Goals of Eradicating Global Poverty and the attainment of Zero Hunger among other goals. The success, or otherwise, of the United Nations Member States in meeting the objectives of the Sustainable Development Goals, is predicted on the cooperation of parties to the agreement, and their collective commitments to work together at the global level. Furthermore, and in order for the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development to be met, the theme of the forthcoming conference, which is, *Institutionalising Global Partnership Programmes for the Eradication of Poverty and Hunger* is apt in meeting the social, economic and environmental objectives of Social Entrepreneurship. In our quest, in lending a helping hand, towards the realisation of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for the Sustainable Development Goals, the Centre for Workplace Capacity Development is inviting Authors and Speakers to submit their papers, for consideration and inclusion in the conference proceedings at the forthcoming International Conference and Exhibition on Social Entrepreneurship, Energy and Climate Change (ICE - SEECC) Conference Theme: *Institutionalising Global Partnership Programmes for Poverty Eradication and Zero Hunger* Sub-Themes: (A) *AGRICULTURE PARTNERSHIP PROGRAMMES* 1.
