ICAC 2024 : The 29th International Conference on Automation and Computing

The 29th International Conference on Automation and Computing (ICAC2024) will be held at the University of Sunderland in Sunderland on 28 Aug.-30 Aug. 2024.

Conference Theme: Smart Systems and Digital Healthcare

AIMS: The aims of the conference are to provide a forum for scientists, engineers, scholars and students to exchange ideas and update technical knowledge, as well as to provide a platform where joint research programmes can be formulated for mutual benefit. The conference welcomes participation and contributions from those involved in both theoretical and practical research on all aspects of automation, control, manufacturing and computer science.

Scope: The scope of the conference covers a broad spectrum of multidisciplinary areas in automation, smart manufacturing, robotics, control, computing and information systems, ranging from fundamental research to real-world practical applications. SUBMISSION:
The submitted papers should be no more than 6 pages (A4 paper) with IEEE conference paper format (https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates.html). The conference details and the paper template for ICAC2024 are available on the conference website. The first page of each paper should include the title of the paper, an abstract with no more than 200 words, up to 5 key words, authors’ name(s), complete postal addresses, and email address for correspondence. Electronic form of submission, in Word or PDF, is acceptable and preferred. Accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements. The Proceedings of International Conference on Automation and Computing have been published on IEEE Xplore since 2011.

Authors of selected papers will be invited to submit extended article versions to a special issue of Systems Science & Control Engineering and a special issue of Sensors.

BEST STUDENT PAPERS:
Papers with the first author being a PhD student are eligible for the Best Student Paper Award. The authors shall clearly indicate whether their papers are qualified for this award during submission. The best papers will be assessed by a panel based on academic significance and presentation performance, and award certificates will be presented to the authors in the conference.
