Call for Papers

Prospective authors (i.e. faculty member, subject experts, government officers, information professionals, librarians, practitioners, research students) are invited to submit their full original research paper/posters (not submitted elsewhere) to the Online Submission Module of i-IKM 2019. The editorial board of the conference reserves all the right to accept or reject the articles/posters without any prior intimation. All the accepted abstract will be published on the conference proceedings. Selected papers will be published as Edited Book with ISBN. The full paper should be submitted as per the guideline provided below-

Format

Article files should be provided in Microsoft Word format. Pdf files will not be allowed for review.

Language

The article must be written in English.

Article length

Articles should be between 4000 and 5000 words in length. This includes all text including references and appendices.

Author details

All contributing authors’ names should be added to the manuscripts and their names arranged in the correct order for publication. The author details must include: name, designation, affiliation, address, e-mail.

Biographies

Authors are instructed to give a brief biography of themselves within 100 words.

Structured abstract

Authors must supply a structured abstract with the main article: Purpose (mandatory), Design/methodology/approach (mandatory), Findings (mandatory), Research limitations/implications (if applicable), Practical implications (if applicable), Social implications (if applicable), Originality/value (mandatory)

Maximum word limit is 400-500 in total (including keywords)

References

References must be prepared according to the guideline of Harvard Referencing Style.

Font style

Use Times New Roman for the whole paper.

Font size and space

The required space for the text is single spaced and font size for the body of the article is 12 pt. The preferred format is for first level headings to be presented in bold format in 13 pt., and subsequent sub-headings to be presented in 12 pt. in italics.

Figures and tables

Figure captions should be placed below the figures, in the middle with a number i.e. 1. Table names should be above the tables and should be placed in the middle. Heading of both tables and figures should be italic and 11pt. Serial numbers of these figures, tables and formulas should be placed in order distinctively.
