About |
KES Covid-19 Challenge is an international summit focussing on technological, economic, and social developments to combat the effects of global and local disasters as well as the ways in which we can build back better for our communities, industry, and the environment. |
Call for Papers |
The KES Covid-19 Challenge is an international virtual summit bringing together technologists, engineers, economists, managers and others who can contribute to the subject, to discuss ways to mitigate against the effects of Covid-19, but further, to build a more resilient economy and society able to better resist sporadic and continuing disasters. The event will take place over one day, and will feature invited thought pieces from experts in the field, and also contributions in the form of 20 minute presentations from researchers and others working in the field. It is intended that one outcome of the summit will be a volume of proceedings published in the KES Springer book series 'Advances in Sustainability Science and Technology'. |
