8th Workshop on Complex Collective Systems shall be held in conjunction with the 15-th International Conference on Parallel Processing and Applied Mathematics September 8-11, 2024
The Workshop shall be held in Ostrava, Czechia. Collective aspects of Complex Systems are attracting an increasing community of researchers working in different fields and dealing with theoretical aspects as well as practical applications. Especially, analyzing of local interactions and simple rules make it possible to modelling of complex collective systems. High quality papers are invited into the workshop. Papers presented during the workshop will be included into the proceedings of PPAM Conference and will be published after the conference by Springer-Verlag in the LNCS series. Papers are not to exceed 14 pages (LNCS style) Authors should submit papers (as PDF files) by PPAM site (track: Workshop Complex Collective Systems). Topics Topics of interest include (but are not limited to): - Models of complex systems, - Agent Systems and Agent-Based Modeling, - CA models for real phenomena, - Pedestrian dynamics and traffic modeling issues, - Implementation issues in CA and agent systems - Granular flow modeling, - Cooperative problems solving Important Dates Paper submission deadline: May 7 Notification of acceptance: June 17 Conference: September 8-11, 2024 Camera-ready version: October 31, 2024 Program Committee (to be confirmed) Stefania Bandini, University of Milano - Bicocca Aleksander Byrski, AGH University of Science and Technology Jedrzej Byrski, AGH University of Science and Technology Mohcine Chraibi, Juelich Supercomputing Centre Ekaterina Kirik, Institute of Computational Modelling SB RAS Tomasz Gwizdalla, University of Lodz Gerta Koester, Munich University of Applied Science Maciej Komosinski, Poznan University of Technology Edyta Kucharska, AGH University of Science and Technology Konrad Kulakowski, AGH University of Science and Technology Krzysztof Kulakowski, AGH University of Science and Technology Krzysztof Malarz, AGH University of Science and Technology Krzysztof Malecki, West Pomeranien University - Szczecin Anna T.
