Theme: BUSINESS INFORMATICS FOR SUSTAINABLE INNOVATION
The BIR conference series has a tradition of a specific focus for every edition that is combined with established topics of the field. The 2022 edition in Rostock has the focus on Business Informatics for Sustainable Innovation: Digital transformation, artificial intelligence, Internet‐of‐Things or dataspaces are some of the current trends in business and market environments that lead to innovations in products, services, organization structure and work environments. These innovations should create value for all stakeholders involved not only from a business and commercial perspective and not purely based on technology. The topic of sustainable innovation obviously also addresses innovations tackling the global climate emergency, transition to a net‐zero economy or changes in ecosystems. We welcome submissions addressing the main theme, the topics listed below and combinations of both. ---------------------------------------------- TOPICS: BIR 2022 welcomes original unpublished contributions that have not been reviewed elsewhere.
