2nd Annual 3S conference on Environmental Sustainability, Simplicity and Spirituality
June 4-5, 2022 The Institute of science and Spirituality (ISS), New Delhi is now accepting abstracts for oral presentations at the 2nd Annual meeting of 3S conference. This meeting will be conducted virtually, June 4-5, 2022. Authors are encouraged to submit abstracts in the general areas of environmental sustainability through spiritual practices and simplicity- past, current and future trends. The topic is broad enough to include eco-theology, simple life practices, simple environmental practices supporting community well being and human health, eco-practices ranging from house level to community, to City and to higher levels. Review of abstracts will begin immediately with April 20th to be the deadline for abstract submissions. Selected abstracts will be invited for extended abstracts. Top abstracts will be recognized through ISS certificates. Student abstracts will receive special attention with top abstracts selected for prize money. We have already a list of international speakers with highest repute agreed to give Keynote talks. For details, please visit the conference webpage at https://issdelhi.org/3s. The abstracts should not be more than 500 words of the main text. Abstract title, author list and affiliation, speaker bio and reference list are not counted towards this word limit. We will accept abstract if these would be related to the overall 3S theme of this conference. The main body of the abstract should contain the following. 1. First Paragraph: The abstract should start with the overall objective of the research/work stating the general direction of the work (e.g. environmental sustainability, eco-theology, simplicity leading to sustainability, spiritual practices leading to sustainability). This paragraph should also state whether the work is ongoing or has been completed. 2. Second paragraph: This paragraph should present the important findings of the project and how these findings relate to the overall theme of this conference. 3. Third paragraph: Brief methodology 4. Conclusions and future work. 5. Speaker and institute details: (not counted in 500 words): Brief biography of the speaker and 2~3 sentences about the institute. 6. Reference list: Any standard format. The number of references should be limited to 10. |
