2D Materials is an international congress that will bring together hundreds of researchers working with 2D materials in various fields of science and technology. 2D Materials 2019 will be the hub for researchers working in the fields of nanoscience, nanotechnology and related topics, providing a great opportunity for accessing the most up-to-date and authoritative knowledge from both academic and commercial worlds, sharing best practice in the field of 2D materials. The conference will take place in the Sochi Olympic Park, Sochi, the host city of the Winter Olympics-2014, FIFA World Cup 2018, annual Russian Grand Prix of the
Formula One World Championship and famous for its spectacular mountains and sea views. The conference is organized by the Center for Photonics & 2D Materials, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT, in 2010, two MIPT alumni, Andre Geim and Konstantin Novoselov were awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics "for ground-breaking experiments regarding the two-dimensional material graphene") and is supported by Russian scientific organizations and foundations.
The Congress consists of daily plenary presentations followed by parallel sessions comprising a rigorously refereed selection of submitted papers and posters for which abstracts are currently invited: Abstract deadline 15 June 2019.
The Conference Proceedings will be published in the IOP Journal of Physics: Conference Series and indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. Authors must prepare their papers using our Microsoft Word or LaTeX2e templates. Detailed author guidelines for conference proceedings.
