Materials Highlights is pleased to announce the upcoming publication of a special issue on Biomedical Applications of Micro- and Nanoparticles. This special issue aims to present the latest developments in micro- and nanoparticles related to biomedical applications for solving the increase in and complexity of real-world health issues. Furthermore, it will include developments in fundamentals, approaches, methodologies, and applications such as drug delivery, biomedical imaging, biosensors, disease therapy, bioprinting, and tissue engineering. Finally, cross-disciplinary and interdisciplinary perspectives will be discussed as well. Guest Editors for this special issue are Xiang Zhang (Zhengzhou University), Jianhua Zhou (Sun Yat-sen University) and Liguo Zhang (Zhengzhou University).
