About |
Composite fibres with new functions are increasingly used in a broad range of industrial applications, including textiles, automotive, aerospace, electrical, and piping systems. Composite fibres are composed of two or more different components in which the main component is the foundation of the fibre, and other components are responsible for functionalization, such as flame retardancy or radiation protection. This Special Issue focuses on the new materials and recent processing methods for the fabrication of bio-based, organic, and inorganic composite fibres for diverse application. |
