BSC 2020 : The 3rd International Workshop on Blockchains and Smart Contracts

Following the success of the previous edition of the workshop on Blockchains and Smart Contracts (BSC 2019), we are pleased to announce the 3rd International Workshop on Blockchains and Smart Contracts (BSC 2020), which will be held in conjunction with the 11th IFIP International Conference on New Technologies, Mobility and Security (NTMS 2020).
Blockchain has recently emerged as a disruptive technology that may revolutionize the world economy and our societies, with applications in key industries including finance, insurance, energy, mobility, healthcare and logistics. A blockchain is typically a decentralized, trustless and continuously growing ledger that is used to record and keep track of every transactions across a peer-to- peer network of participants.

The conference & workshop are supported by IFIP TC6 WG6.2 and IEEE France.

Accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore®, IFIP Digital Library as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases. The workshop is also collaborating this year with International Journal of Forensic Software Engineering:  

This technology is secure by design and leverages well known cryptographic protocols and distributed consensus algorithms to provide key characteristics, such as resilience, fault-tolerance, persistence, anonymity, auditability and data immutability. More recently, smart contracts, backed by the blockchain technology, have emerged as a promising means for automating the execution of business workflows and enforcing legal contracts, in a fully decentralized way and without the need for any trusted third parties. However, there are still major research challenges that need to be overcome to unlock the tremendous potential of blockchains, and before enabling a mass market penetration and adoption.

BSC 2020 : The 3rd International Workshop on Blockchains and Smart Contracts will take place in Paris, France. It’s a 3 days event starting on Jul 06, 2020 (Monday) and will be winded up on Jul 08, 2020 (Wednesday).

BSC 2020 falls under the following areas: BLOCKCHAIN, SECURITY, TESTING AND VERIFICATION, COMPUTER SCIENCE, etc. Submissions for this Workshop can be made by Mar 20, 2020. Authors can expect the result of submission by May 01, 2020. Upon acceptance, authors should submit the final version of the manuscript on or before Jun 08, 2020 to the official website of the Workshop.
