In their aim to disseminate innovative research and best practices in psychology, counselling and education, Psychreg, the International Society of Psychology, Counselling and Education (ISPCE), GetPsyched and the Universiti of Malaysia Sabah jointly organise the 2nd International Conference on Psychology, Counselling, and Education (ICPCE 2019), to be held at Kota Kinabalu campus of UMS on on 31st October–2nd November 2019.
The theme of the ICPE 2018 is: A spectrum of opportunities to meet psychology, social work, counselling and education experts
ICPCE 2019 is an interdisciplinary event that brings together scholars and practitioners from a range of backgrounds (e.g., public health, government and public policy, psychology, medicine, sociology, allied health professions, education, sports and exercise science, social sciences, media studies, counselling, and the lay public) to consider research, policy, rhetoric and practice within the disciplines of psychology, counselling and education.
ICPCE 2019 will be held at Universiti Malaysia Sabah at Kota Kinabalu.
Indeed, these three allied disciplines have never faced greater challenges than in the current environment. It is our hope that through collective efforts, we can arm ourselves with essential information so that as psychologists, counsellors and educators we will be better able to maximise the opportunities for change and improvement as they are presented.
We are seeking submissions for paper presentations that meet the following criteria:
Offers relevant perspectives on the application of psychology, counselling and educational principles to contemporary challenges of the 21st century
Hinged on a robust and richly-described empirical study (qualitative, quantitative or both), or those that incorporate rigorous theoretical analysis
Presents diverse disciplinary perspectives, methodological and theoretical approaches from within, and beyond the disciplines of psychology, counselling and education.
Fields that might be covered include, but are not limited to:
applied psychology
clinical psychology
counselling
educational psychology
mental health
organisational psychology
psychometrics
social psychology
special education
We welcome direct submissions of original research within the scope of the theme of the conference. Submissions may present new research, critical theory, or best practice and could highlight practical lessons learned from experience in different settings, or countries.

All submissions should follow the APA Style Guide and use British English spelling. Please use standard British English spelling of words such as ‘centre’ or ‘behaviour’. Where British English has alternative spellings of words such as ‘recognize’/‘recognise’, please use the ‘s’ form, e.g., ‘recognise’.

International contributions are particularly encouraged. The refereeing process for these submissions will be expedited to ensure that potential presenters have sufficient notice.
