IGI Global works in close collaboration with expert researchers and professionals from leading institutions, including Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Harvard University, Stanford University, University of Cambridge, University of Oxford, Tsinghua University and the Australian National University. One of the world's most important political hot spots today is Ukraine but also the other Post-Soviet States like Belarus, Georgia and Armenia. In February 2014, Russia made several illegal military incursions into Ukrainian territory. After Euromaidan protests and the fall of Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovych, Russian soldiers without insignias took control of strategic positions and infrastructure within the Ukrainian eastern territory and Crimea. After the annexation of Crimea, the geopolitical situation has changed completely in region. The political actors in the region are the European Union, Russia, USA and the Post-Soviet states themselves. In this book, focus will be on the relations between the European Union, Russia, the Post-Soviet states, and how President Vladimir Putin changed the political situation in the region. The overall subject of the book will be a political and historical analysis of the existing political situation in the region with Ukraine, Russia and its European Union neighbours. After the Russian occupation of Crimea and parts of Eastern Ukraine, the situation is changing from year to year. As well as the region plays an important role in the global politics, especially between USA and Russia. It is therefore very important that researchers are analysing the situation and are part in a global peace process. The analyses of this book will primarily be seen from a Ukrainian point of view. A political and historical angle that is missing in political analyses in the world today. You will need to indicate your intention to submit your full paper by email to the guest editor with the title of the paper, authors, and abstract. The full manuscript should be emailed to the editor by the deadline indicated below. Authoring guidelines will be mailed to you after we receive your letter of intent.
